‘Furious 7’ Star Michelle Rodriguez Planning Acting Hiatus

Furious 7 star Michelle Rodriguez is planning to take a year away from Hollywood to properly mourn the loss of friend and co-star Paul Walker and overcome other recent heartaches.

The Latino actress, who is currently vacationing with friends in Italy, opened up about her upcoming hiatus while chatting to reporters on the red carpet at the recent 2015 Pirelli Calendar launch party.

Rodriguez said, “This year has been too much and I need some time out. I’ve been working hard and now I want time off. That’s what I do. Work hard, play hard. I don’t think that’s much to ask or want.

“I don’t have anything in the pipeline at the moment. I’m free. I had so much heartbreak last year that I am taking a year off to do something different, like write.”

The actress is reportedly recovering from break-ups with Zac Efron and Cara Delevingne.
