Angelina Jolie is working on a documentary about the making of her new film Unbroken.
The star has directed the new movie about late Olympian Louis Zamperini’s experiences during the 1936 Berlin Olympics, and as a prisoner of war in World War II – and she has teamed up with revered newsman Tom Brokaw to document the moviemaking process.
He explains, “We’ve talked to other Americans who were prisoners of the Japanese. We’ve talked to (Navy Seal) commanders on how you get hardwired like Louis Zamperini was and the Japanese reaction (to the film). In Japan, they don’t want to show the film.”
Brokaw did not reveal when the documentary will be released.
The film stars Jack O’Connell as Louis Zamperini.
Zamperini passed away in July. His biopic hits cinemas this Christmas.
