Seth Rogen and James Franco’s ‘The Interview’ Salaries Exposed in Sony Pictures Leak

Seth Rogen and James Franco’s salaries for their new movie The Interview have been revealed as part of the hack attack on Sony Pictures.

The movie giant’s databases were compromised last week and reports suggested the perpetrators had stolen files featuring the personal details of stars including Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz, as well as films which were subsequently posted online, including Brad Pitt’s Fury and the forthcoming adaptation of Annie, which led to millions of illegal downloads through pirate sites.

Reports suggest the attack may have been carried out by officials in North Korea in revenge over Franco and Rogen’s latest comedy, which tells the fictional story of two men who try to assassinate the country’s dictator Kim Jong Un.

North Korean government representatives have slammed the film and the country’s United Nations mission refused to deny the rumor, saying, “I kindly advise you to just wait and see.”

While Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officers are investigating the incident, new details from the reports have surfaced, including the salaries of The Interview‘s two stars.

According to TheWrap.com, Rogen made a reported $8.4 million plus compensation, while Franco took in $6.5 million. The report also reveals that Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline makes a cameo in the film, as he is listed as being paid $5,000 for his brief appearance.

The Interview is still on track to hit theaters on Christmas Day.
