Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez is heading back to TV to guest star in the final season of comedy Parks and Recreation.
The “Booty” hitmaker will play a nanny employed by Amy Poehler and Adam Scott’s characters, according to TVLine.com.
This will be Lopez’s first scripted TV appearance since 2010, when she guest starred on How I Met Your Mother.
The final season of Parks and Recreation is slated to premiere on NBC in January.
The show centers on the daily goings on of a small town’s Parks department, chronicling their hilarious trials and tribulations along the way. Amy Poehler leads the cast with character Leslie Knope, but the show has produced many other memorable characters along the way including Ron Swanson ,Tom Haverford and Donna Meagle, to name a few.
Jon Hamm, Megan Mullaly and Rachel Dratch will also be among the guest stars appearing on the show’s seventh and final season.
