Kendra Wilkinson Contemplated Suicide After Learning of Husband’s Alleged Infidelity

Former Playboy-pin-up-turned reality TV star Kendra Wilkinson came close to killing herself after news of her husband’s alleged infidelity with a transsexual broke earlier this year.

The blonde model and Hank Baskett have tackled their biggest marital challenge in front of the cameras on her Kendra On Top, and in an episode which will air on Friday, she confesses she considered suicide when she first heard that her husband had been caught with another woman.

Wilkinson, who is currently competing on British reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in Australia, says, “I was at a real low. I even questioned my life. If it wasn’t for breastfeeding (newborn daughter) Alijah and the bond I had with her, I feel like I would have probably ended my life. I felt like, ‘I’m not even supposed to be here’.”

In a filmed joint interview with Baskett, shot after the current season of Kendra On Top wrapped, she also tells her husband that she had planned to “surprise” him with divorce papers on camera, adding, “Stuff like that was in the works… We were about to pull through with a mediator to get a divorce and you were agreeing on the other end.”

But Baskett insists he would not have walked away from his marriage easily, stating, “I was not agreeing.”

The former football star has denied claims he cheated on Wilkinson with transsexual Ava London and his wife now accepts there are discrepancies in her story.

He has moved back into the family home and Kendra insists the couple’s relationship and friendship is back on track.

In a recent TV interview with Access Hollywood Live, she said, “I know what happened. There is some investigation going on right now and that’s why I have to stay away from some things… We are on the road to recovery, we are on the road to friendship again… Our marriage has been shaken up and I believe that this is something that is gonna renew us as people, renew us as friends.”
