Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts Join Ryan Murphy’s ‘Scream Queens’

The cast of Ryan Murphy’s horror-comedy series Scream Queens is starting to take shape with the addition of American Horror Story alum Emma Roberts and horror-alum Jamie Lee Curtis.

According to TVLine.com, Ryan has tapped both Roberts and Curtis to star in the fifteen-episode first season of the show, but no details have emerged about their roles as of yet.

The new series was announced back in October, with Ryan telling reporters, “I knew I wanted to work with Brad and Ian again on something comedic, and we are having a blast writing Scream Queens. We hope to create a whole new genre – comedy-horror – and the idea is for every season to revolve around two female leads. We’ve already begun a nationwide search for those women, as well as 10 other supporting roles, and we’re very grateful to Dana and Gary for their enthusiastic support.”
