Ansel Elgort Addresses Gay Rumors

Ansel Elgort has brushed off rumors he is gay, telling fans he would not hide his sexual orientation from them.

The Fault in Our Stars actor has been dogged by gossip about his sexuality since he split up with high school sweetheart Violetta Komyshan in August.

Elgort, who shot to fame in Divergent this year, has now addressed the rumours, telling fans they would know if he was gay.

He writes on Twitter, “Just in case it isn’t clear… I like girls. A lot… Also let me say if I was gay I wouldn’t hide it. Being gay or straight isn’t bad or good it just IS. U (you) are who you are. Be true to yourself.”
