David Schwimmer to Star as Robert Kardashian in FX’s ‘American Crime Story’

Former Friends star David Schwimmer has been cast as Robert Kardashian in the upcoming FX series based on the O.J. Simpson trial, American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson. Robert Kardashian, Kim Kardashian’s late father, was O.J. Simpsons lawyer.

Kardashian, who also fathered Kim’s siblings Kourtney, Khloe and Rob, lost his battle with cancer in 2003, aged 59.

Cuba Gooding, Jr. has been cast as Simpson while Sarah Paulson will be playing prosecutor Marcia Clark.

Ryan Murphy, who created Glee and American Horror Story, developed the American Crime Series to focus on different true crime stories each season, the first installment is based on the book The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson by Jeffrey Toobin.
