‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Scores International Premiere at Berlin Film Festival

The much-anticipated move adaptation of E.L. James’ erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey will premiere in Berlin, Germany on February 11.

The film, starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, will screen as part of the Berlin Film Festival.

The two stars and director Sam Taylor-Wood are expected to hit the red carpet for the launch.

Dornan recently revealed that he visited a real-life sex dungeon to prepare for the role. He told Elle magazine, “I went there, they offered me a beer, and they did…whatever they were into. I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives, and he became our kink adviser on the film… I was like: ‘Come on guys I know I’m not paying for this but I am expecting a show.’ It was an interesting evening. Then going back to my wife and newborn baby afterwards… I had a long shower before touching either of them.”

Fifty Shades of Grey will be released here in the States on Feb. 13.
