Here’s your first Atlanta Weekly Filming Roundup of 2015, covering the week of January 4-January 10!

Coming Soon

• Halt and Catch Fire is scheduled to begin filming its second season in April.

• Captain America: Civil War is scheduled to start shooting  in Atlanta in April.

• Ben Affleck’s new film The Accountant is scheduled to shoot in the state.

• Melissa McCarthy’s new comedy Michelle Darnell will film in Georgia and is currently hiring crew members! (Judging by the description the movie sounds a lot like a hilarious take on Martha Stewart’s legal troubles)

Currently in Production

• The 5th Wave was filming a block from the Georgia Aquarium this week as well as in Macon.

• Complications was spotted filming in Clayton County

• Finding Carter filming signs were spotted near Jimmy Carter at I-85, which may have been crew doing pre-production stuff because we hear the show doesn’t start filming again until Jan. 15th.

Celebrity Sightings

• The Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham were spotted having a whale of a good time at the Georgia Aquarium.
