‘New Girl’ Star Zooey Deschanel Is Pregnant!

Zooey Deschanel, 34, is expecting her first child with her producer boyfriend Jacob Pechenik, 42.

The New Girl star announced the news on Tuesday telling People.com, “Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one.”

The pair has been dating since the middle of year.

Zooey probably has some kid experience under her belt since her sister, Bones star Emily Deschanel, and her husband David Hornsby have a 3-year-old. Deschanel and Hornsby also recently announced they’re expecting baby number two, so that means we get to watch the Deschanel sisters be adorably pregnant together over the next few months.

No word yet on how Zooey’s pregnancy will be handled on her show New Girl. What do you think fans?
