‘The Walking Dead’ Star Sonequa Martin-Green and Husband Welcome First Child!

Sonequa Martin-Green is a new mom!

The Walking Dead star (whom some may also recognize from a brief stint on Once Upon a Time) and her actor husband Kenric Green welcomed baby boy, Kenric Justin Green II, last Saturday, reports People.com.

A statement from the couple reads: “We thank God for this incredible blessing. We are overjoyed. He’s the coolest little man ever.”

Congrats to the new mom and her family!

We had the pleasure of speaking with Sonequa at Walker Stalker Con Atlanta, who told us back in October that the crew was very courteous of her throughout her pregnancy. (Good to hear that… we all already saw how difficult being pregnant during an apocalypse can be!)

Hopefully we’ll have the chance to catch up with her in a few months and see how things are going with her new little bundle of joy!
