Tara Reid and Ian Ziering Headed Back to Take On ‘Sharknado 3’

Tara Reid and Ian Ziering have signed up for another Sharknado TV movie.

The actors played a couple in 2013’s Sharknado and last year’ sequel, will reprise their roles as Fin and April in a third action film.

Premiering on Syfy in July, Sharknado 3 will cause mass destruction in the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., than roar down the Eastern Seaboard.

Anthony C. Ferrante will once again direct, based on an original screenplay by Thunder Levin.

Sharknado 2 starred Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Vivica A. Fox, Mark McGrath, Kari Wuhrer and Judah Friedlander, with cameos including Kelly Osbourne, Andy Dick, Perez Hilton, Judd Hirsch, Robert Klein, Kurt Angle, Salt N’ Pepa’s Pepa (Sandra Denton), Biz Markie, Matt Lauer, Al Roker, Kelly Ripa, Michael Strahan, Richard Kind, Kelly Oxford, Billy Ray Cyrus, Wil Wheaton and Robert Hays. No word on other returning (living) cast members as of yet, but we’re guessing there will be plenty of celebrity cameos like last time.

Last year’s sequel was the most-watched original movie ever to air on the network with 3.9 million total viewers.
