‘The Vampire Diaries’ Sneak Peek- Episode 6.13: The Day I Tried To Live

A new episode of The Vampire Diaries airs every Thursday and next week’s episode sounds like the beginning of the end for Jeremy’s time in Mystic Falls.

News broke a few weeks ago that Steven R. McQueen was preparing to leave the series and judging by this episode’s synopsis, it seems like it could be the beginning of the end. Don’t be sad though fans, executive producer Julie Plec is refusing to write him out of the show completely, stating, “He (McQueen) could show up at weddings, funerals and series finales for sure, but this journey is taking him to another place.

“It’s time for him to go out and live his life and we’re actually going to say goodbye to Steven R. McQueen as a series regular. He’s growing up and moving on.”

The Vampire Diaries- Episode 6.13 ‘The Day I Tried To Live’ Official Description

Determined to celebrate Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) birthday, Elena (Nina Dobrev) convinces Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) that it’s what Bonnie would have wanted. After piecing the broken ascendant back together, Elena, Jeremy and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) attempt to send Bonnie a message, but the situation turns dire when they make an unsettling discovery. Meanwhile, after uncovering Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) secret about his great-niece Sarah Salvatore (guest star Tristan Mays), Enzo (Michael Malarkey) enlists a reluctant Matt (Zach Roerig) to help interfere with her life. Elsewhere, Stefan keeps a close eye on Caroline (Candice Accola) as she unconventionally attempts to cope with everything going on around her. Lastly, realizing it might be time to move on with his life, Jeremy contemplates leaving Mystic Falls for good. Pascal Verschooris directed the episode written by Chad Fiveash & James Stoteraux.
