Beyonce Launching Vegan Meal Delivery Service; PETA Approves
Beyonce is encouraging fans to give up animal products by launching her own vegan diet scheme and PETA has given the plan their stamp of approval.
The singer and her rapper husband Jay Z have overhauled the way they eat in recent years, giving up meat and dairy in favor of simple plant-based meals.
Beyonce is now sharing her secrets by teaming up with fitness trainer Marco Borges, the brains behind the 22 Days Nutrition plan, to launch a new vegan meal delivery service.
The pop star says of the scheme, “I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example… He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can. I am excited to partner with him.”
Beyonce’s home delivery meals include a sesame cabbage lentil bowl and winter beans with zesty-parsley quinoa.
The animal-friendly eating plan has won Beyonce the support of PETA bosses, who have praised the superstar for urging others to try more vegan foods.
Lisa Lange, Senior Vice President of PETA, tells WENN, “When Beyonce and Jay Z want to look and feel their best, they eat vegan – and Queen Bey has noted that her energy goes through the roof when she sticks to plant-based meals.
“PETA is sure that Beyonce’s latest venture will inspire people around the world to explore healthy, humane vegan meals and see how easy it is to look and feel flawless.”
