Pregnant actress Milla Jovovich has been tapped to star in a new fantasy movie based on short stories written by Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin.
The actress will co-star with War of the Worlds actor Justin Chatwin in the film adaptation of In The Lost Lands, in which she will portray sorceress Gray Alys, who is hired by a desperate queen to travel into the Lost Lands to obtain the gift of shape shifting.
German filmmaker Constantin Werner has adapted Martin’s three short stories for the project, which he will also direct.
Production on the movie is expected to begin in Germany later this year.
In The Lost Lands will be Jovovich’s second job once she returns to work after giving birth to her second child with her director husband Paul W. S. Anderson – she had to put the next installment in her Resident Evil franchise on hold due to her pregnancy.
