‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Star Dakota Johnson Banned Family From Seeing Film

Dakota Johnson has banned her famous family from watching her role in erotic drama Fifty Shades of Grey because she would be mortified if they saw her acting out kinky sex scenes.

The star plays a submissive student seduced by a bondage-obsessed businessman in the upcoming movie, and she is adamant the saucy scenes should empower women.

However, she has already forbid her parents, Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, from watching the movie on its release, and has extended the veto to her brother and his pals because she grew up with them.

Johnson tells Glamour magazine, “If I can be an advocate for women to do what they want with their bodies and not be ashamed of what they want, then I’m all for that. But I don’t want my family to see it, because it’s inappropriate. Or my brother’s friends that I grew up with. Also there’s part of me that’s like, I don’t want anyone to see this movie. Just kidding.”
