Dean Martin’s Daughter Wants Hugh Jackman to Portray Her Father in Biopic

Dean Martin’s daughter is hoping to hire Hugh Jackman to tackle the lead role in a big screen biopic of the legendary entertainer.

Deana Martin’s book about her father, Memories Are Made Of This: Dean Martin Through His Daughter’s Eyes, is set to be turned into a film, and she has named X-Men star Jackman as the ideal candidate to play the Rat Pack crooner.

She tells the Sydney Daily Telegraph, “I think he would be fabulous. He’s the right height, he’s got the hairline, he can sing, he’s suave. He could handle that… Trying to find someone who could play Dean Martin is very, very difficult.”

Other stars previously rumored to be in contention for the role include Johnny Depp and Harry Connick, Jr.
