Here’s your Atlanta Weekly Filming Roundup covering the week of February 7th-14th!

Coming Soon

  • Survivor’s Remorse will begin production on its second season this Spring.
  • Halt and Catch Fire is scheduled to begin filming its second season in April.
  • Captain America: Civil War is scheduled to start shooting  in Atlanta in April.
  • Melissa McCarthy’s new comedy Michelle Darnell will film in Georgia and Kathy Bates has joined the cast! (Judging by the description the movie sounds a lot like a hilarious take on Martha Stewart’s legal troubles)
  • Ring 3 is supposed to film in the state

Currently in Production

  • “Finding Carter” filmed in Avondale Estates earlier this week. According to a notice, “On Wednesday, crews will film at Lake Avondale from 9 am to noon and at 44 Lakeshore Drive from 7 am to 9 pm. On Thursday,there will be more filming at Lakeshore Drive, 7 am to 9 pm.”
  • House of DVF, Diane Von Furstenberg’s reality show for E!, was seen filming in the new Diane Von Furstenberg store at Lenox Mall
  • The Accountant (Ben Affleck’s flick) was spotted filming at the corner of JW Dobbs and Courtland, downtown near GSU and signs were also spotted near the FOX theater pointing toward Juniper.
  • Dirty Grandpa was seen shooting at 200 Peachtree in Atlanta.

Celebrity Sightings

  • Selena Gomez and Paul Rudd stopped by Antico for a pizza-making lesson

What else would I do in Atlanta but learn how to make the best pizza, ever.
