Rooney Mara fears a sequel to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movie is unlikely to come to fruition.
The actress starred opposite Daniel Craig in the 2011 Hollywood adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s novel of the same name, but she doubts the book’s follow-up, The Girl Who Played With Fire, will ever be produced.
The film’s director David Fincher recently gave fans hope by suggesting the second movie was in the writing stage, but Mara doubts it will ever make it to the big screen.
Mara tells E! Online, “I don’t think it’s going to happen. I’m sad never to do it again, but it just doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards.”
