Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Piece by Piece’ Tops Album Charts

Kelly Clarkson is back at the top of the albums chart with her latest release, Piece by Piece.

It’s the pop star’s third chart-topping disc – her first since All I Ever Wanted hit the top spot in 2009.

Clarkson edges out the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, which rises a spot to two on the new Billboard 200 countdown, while Taylor Swift’s 1989 is back in the top three at three in its 19th week on release.

Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late stays put at four, while Ed Sheeran’s x rounds out the top five at five.

Clarkson recently proved her awesomeness when she responded to a critic who fat-shamed her saying,, “She doesn’t know me. I’m awesome! It doesn’t bother me. It’s a free world. Say what you will. I’ve just never cared what people think. It’s more if I’m happy and I’m confident and feeling good, that’s always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family – I don’t seek out any other acceptance.”
