‘Boy Meets World’ Teacher Mr. Turner Headed to ‘Girl Meets World’

Boy Meets World fans should brace themselves… another long-lost character has signed on to make an appearance on the Disney continuation, Girl Meets World.

Anthony Tyler Quinn has signed on to reprise his role of Jonathan Turner – Corey, Shawn and Topanga’s too-cool teacher during seasons 2-4 and Shawn’s almost dad. The actor will first appear in an episode during season 2 titled “Girl Meets the New Teacher.”

The series’ writer confirmed Quinn’s return today on Twitter:

Other notable characters that are set to appear during season two include Will Friedle as Cory’s goofy older brother Eric Matthews, Trina McGee-Davis as Shawn’s ex-girlfriend and love of his life Angela Moore and Blake Clark as Shawn’s late father Chet.
