USA’s ‘Mr. Robot’ Holds Nothing Back in New Ads

USA has quite the eye-catching marketing plan going for their new series Mr. Robot and we kind of love it.

That’s a pretty tame way of putting it seeing as the campaign consists of the straightforward slogans “F–k Wall Street,” “F–k Society,” “F–k Social Media,” “F–k the System.” Yep.

The new thriller series premieres on the network this summer and the ads do a great job of letting viewers know just what the main character, pictured strategically covering parts of the F-bombs in the ads, thinks about our country’s system.

Check out the trailer, the promo ads and a description of the series from the network below:

‘Mr. Robot’ Synopsis

USA Network presents “Mr. Robot,” a techno thriller that follows Elliot (Rami Malek, “The Pacific”), a young programmer, who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and as a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot finds himself at a crossroad when the mysterious leader of an underground hacker group (Christian Slater, “The Adderall Diaries”) recruits him to destroy the firm he is paid to protect. Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs he believes are running (and ruining) the world. From Universal Cable Productions, this contemporary and culturally resonant drama also stars Portia Doubleday (“Her”), Carly Chaikin (“Suburgatory”) and Martin Wallström (“Simple Simon”).
