Forza Horizon 2: Storm Island – Extreme Offroading

Forza Motorsport is a series that just recently celebrated its 10th birthday, offering Xbox gamers with 10 years of thrilling racing action. Forza Horizon took the popular racing franchise into a new direction with its open world gameplay that edges on the side of the more arcade racer for players to enjoy. Who doesn’t enjoy a great festival where people are celebrating the need for speed?

After having thoroughly enjoyed the second installment in the Forza Horizon series, I recently made the trip to Storm Island, Forza Horizon 2’s DLC expansion that takes players to an island where the offroading gets a little more extreme.

Forza Horizon 2: Storm Island offers a lot more offroading in stormy conditions, though it’s not always a rainy day on the island. However, big jumps are definitely a focus in the expansion pack. Almost every race seems to have a large jump to struggle with as it’s not always going to be a perfect landing, but at least it’s mighty fun to experience.

Storm Island is a wonderful place for fans to visit and well worth the price tag for the trip, $20 for regular gamers and only $10 for VIP members.
