NBC Orders Children’s Variety Series From Ellen Degeneres and Steve Harvey

Ellen Degeneres and Steve Harvey have joined forces to bring a new variety series to NBC.

The new show, titled Little Big Shots, will feature the world’s most talented and extraordinary kids. Ellen is known for having memorable children as guests on her talk-show, so it’s no huge surprise that her love of kids is now getting its own platform and seeing her team up with Steve Harvey is bound to be interesting. The network has already ordered eight hour-long episodes of the show, hosted by Harvey, from Warner Horizon Television.

In the series, Harvey will host and showcase young musicians, singers, dancers and every talented kid in-between, including pint-size breakdancers and 5-year-old piano virtuosos. He’ll also go toe to toe with them in conversations and interviews, which are sure to garner hilarious results.

There hasn’t been a children’s variety series on the air in a few years, so seeing what this duo comes up with will be fun to watch. Not to mention it’s a twist on a reality-type series that we can actually get behind.

We’d love to hear your opinion on the series! Talk to us in the comments below!
