MTV Orders More ‘Finding Carter’ Episodes

Great news for fans of MTV’s hit series Finding Carter was announced today.

MTV has officially picked up the drama for 12 more episodes, which are set to premiere later this year. Not only is this great news for fans of the show, but also for any fellow Georgians that happen to be reading. The show is filmed here so more episodes ordered means more production work in the state, which only helps its growing industry.

In case you haven’t checked out Finding Carter yet (I have and you definitely should) the series follows teenage Carter Stevens, who thought she has the perfect life until one night finding out that the woman who she believes to be her biological mother actually abducted her as a toddler. Now, Carter must adjust to living with a family she never knew she had and who thought they’d lost her forever.

Watch Alex Saxon, one of the show’s adorable stars, announce the great news below!

Finding Carter stars Kathryn Prescott as “Carter Stevens” (“Skins”), Cynthia Watros as “Elizabeth Wilson” (“Lost”), Anna Jacoby-Heron as “Taylor Wilson” (“Contagion”), Alexis Denisof as “David Wilson” (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”/ “Angel”), Alex Saxon as “Max” (“The Fosters”) and Zac Pullam as “Grant.” The series also features Milena Govich as “Lori” (“Law and Order”), Meredith Baxter as “Grandma Joan” (“Family Ties”), Robert Pine as “Grandpa Buddy” (“CHiPs”) and Eddie Matos as “Kyle.”

You can catch new episodes of Finding Carter on MTV, Tuesdays at 10/9c.
