MTV Orders Pilot Presentation for Animated Comedy ‘Fancy Bastards’

MTV could have an animated comedy joining their ranks of original programming if all goes well for the newly ordered pilot presentation with the working title Fancy Bastards.

The comedy features a star-studded cast including Pitch Perfect 2 star Brittany snow, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne and more. The 30 minute comedy follows a small town that is shocked to learn its five most awkward outcasts all share the same father – a notorious ginger cad who had an indiscretion filled night during a whirlwind visit to Vegas nine years ago… and just happens to be a prince. Everything goes up from there and the misfits turn into royal rockstars overnight, but soon they all find that their new lives are no fairytales.

In addition to Snow and the Osbourne ladies, the Fancy Bastards cast includes Natasha Leggero (Neighbors), Nasim Pedrad (SNL), John Roberts (Bob’s Burgers), Jameeliah Garrett (Supanatural) and Jessica Lowe (Blended).

Once the presentation is completed and viewed by network heads, we should learn whether or not the show will receive a pilot or series order. It could take a while, but we’ll keep you updated with whatever news we learn.
