‘Scream Queens,’ ‘The Muppets’ and More Land Critics’ Choice Television Awards’ Most Exciting New Series Honors
The Critics’ Choice Television Awards’ have revealed their honorees for the Most Exciting New Series Honors, including nods to Scream Queens, The Muppets, American Crime Story and more.
The Most Exciting New Series Honors were chosen by Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) members from pilots, early episodes and trailers from series premiering after May 1, 2015.
Along with the honorees being announced, it was also revealed that Charlize Theron would present the Critics’ Choice LOUIS XIII Genius Award to two-time Emmy Award winner Seth MacFarlane, who has demonstrated unprecedented excellence in the television arts.
The honorees for the Critics’ Choice Television Awards’ (CCTAs) Most Exciting New Series are listed below:

- Aquarius (NBC)
- Blindspot (NBC)
- Minority Report (FOX)
- The Muppets (ABC)
- Scream Queens (FOX)
- Supergirl (CBS)
- UnREAL (Lifetime)

The Critics’ Choice Television Awards’ will air live on A&E from the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, May 31 at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
