Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Will Not Appear in ‘Fuller House’

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will not be returning to Netflix’s Full House spinoff, Fuller House, which means we won’t get to see what little Michelle Tanner is up to in her adult life.

After a bit of controversy surrounding whether or not the girls would return to make a shared appearance as the littlest Tanner sister, Michelle, the controversy has officially been put to rest by the show’s executive producer Robert L. Boyett. “Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them, and they are still very much considered family,” said Boyett. “It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes toward ‘Fuller House.’”

When Fuller House was confirmed by John Stamos, the twins came out in an interview the next day claiming they didn’t know anything about the spinoff. “We just found out about it today,” said Mary-Kate. “I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening.”

“I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn’t even talk about it,” continued Ashley. “I’m shocked I haven’t heard from John [Stamos],” said Mary-Kate.

After the news began making its way around, the twins’ former TV uncle John Stamos came out calling the claims “bullshit.” Either way, we definitely won’t be finding out about Michelle via a Fuller House visit.

Are you bummed Michelle won’t be making an appearance in Fuller House?
