Eric Kripke Chats ‘Revolution’ With Press At Comic Con 2012

Eric Kripke chatted with press last week about the new NBC series Revolution which premieres this fall. Revolution tells the store of a family that struggles to reunite in a post-apocalyptic American world. Cities are now devoid of people, the local militia is full of freedom fighters, and every piece of technology that we’ve ever known – is dead.

Eric Kripke chatted with us a bit about how he came up with the idea for NBC’s Revolution, his overall plan for the series, and the important story arcs the fans can look forward to! Check out our interview with him from the press room at Comic Con 2012.

  1. Great interview guys, this is the first time i’m watching Kripke so it was really interesting to know him.

  2. Kripke is great – I’m a huge fan of his work. The first 5 seasons of Supernatural were all his and they were brilliant! 🙂 So I have high expectations for this one as well!

  3. I couldn’t agree more! First 5 seasons were the very best. 6th and 7th season however not so much.
So, its really great that they re-newed the series from the upcoming season.

  4. There’s another new showrunner this year on Supernatural – Jeremy Carver – who’s best known probably from Syfy’s Being Human. I’m excited to see the direction he’ll take the show, but I don’t see how they can ever top the first 5 seasons – those were just pure genius.

  5. That’s sounds very interesting, It will be really cool to see what the other director can do. Yes, i completely agree with what you said, the relationship Dean and Sam shared before season 6 was something i see very hard to get back on track. Well, Let’s just hope for the best and trust the writers and directors.
