‘Scream Queens’ Star Keke Palmer Lands Role in ‘Grease: Live’

Keke Palmer’s career has been on a steady incline and the former child star can now add Grease: Live to her impressive, ever-growing resume.

Palmer has officialy joined the cast of Grease: Live, Fox’s first venture into the world of live musicals, and will star as Pink Lady Marty, opposite Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough. Marty was originally played by Dinah Manoff in the film.

Those who are nervous that the actress may not be up to the task of taking on such a role, can relax. Keke has tons of musical experience, including starring in Broadway’s Cinderella and playing the role of TLC member Chili in CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. You can look out for her in the meantime, however, in Ryan Murphy’s new horror-comedy Scream Queens, set to premiere on FOX in the fall.

As previously mentioned, Palmer joins a cast which features Julianne Hough as goody-goody Sandy and Vanessa Hudgens as bad girl Rizzo.

Grease: Live will air live Jan. 31, 2016 at 7 p.m. ET/ 6 CT (tape-delayed for PT).
