‘Archer’ and ‘AHS: Freak Show’ Star Sarah Paulson Among Early Critics Choice TV Awards Winners

The Critics Choice Television Awards are airing right now, but a few prizes were awarded on the blue carpet, most notably FX animated series Archer and American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson.

Super spy Archer may have a reason to back up all that arrogance, with the hit series taking home its fourth Critics Choice Award for Best Animated Series. This win is pretty near and dear to my heart, having had the awesome opportunity to work on the show for 3 seasons. Archer won’t return until 2016, but we’ll be (impatiently) waiting to see what awesomeness the cast and crew cooks up next year.

Sarah Paulson also took home a blue carpet honor, winning Best Supporting Actress In Movie Or Limited Series for her dual role as conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler in American Horror Story: Freak Show. Paulson will return to the show in a new role this year and you can also catch her on the new FX series American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.

You can check out some more early winners below:

Best Talk Show: The Daily Show With Jon Stewart

Best Supporting Actor In A Dramatic Series: Jonathan Banks, Better Call Saul

Best Supporting Actress In A Dramatic Series: Lorraine Toussaint, Orange Is The New Black

The Critics Choice Awards is currently airing on A&E.

Let us know who else you hope to see win tonight!
