‘Arrested Development’ Scheduled to Return to Netflix in 2016

Arrested Development fans have a better idea of when the show is supposed to return to Netflix, thanks to details from producer Brian Grazer.

During a recent interview on the “Adam Carolla Show” podcast, Grazer revealed that the cult comedy is set to begin season 5 production for Season Jan. 1, 2016 and is planned to return to Netflix that same June.

“Netflix is determined to do more episodes, so we’re going to do more episodes,” he told Carolla.

Grazer previously stated that the show would return with 17 episodes. “I love Arrested Development, but it was never a huge thing,” he said. “But people are loyal to it, and we’re going to do another 17 episodes. So stay tuned for Arrested Development.”

Arrested Development star Will Arnett also previously confirmed that the show would return for another season during an interview with while promoting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles saying, “We are going to do more Arrested Development. Ted Sarandos and Netflix kind of let the cat out of the bag on that one. It’s something we all want to do so we’re excited.”
