Newest ‘Jurassic World’ Featurette Spotlights Legacy Crewmembers

If the latest installment of the Jurassic Park franchise, Jurassic World, feels familiar, it could be because a number of the crewmembers were involved in multiple installments of the series.

The newest featurette spotlights the legacy crewmembers that helped bring the classic Jurassic feel back for a new generation. Legacy crewmembers include: Production Designer Ed Verreaux (Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park 3); Lead Greensman Danny Ondrejko (Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park 3); Animatronic Effects/ Legacy Effects John Rosengrant (Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park 3); and Paleontology Consultant Jack Horner (Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park 3) who also revealed, “Michael Chriton based his Alan Grant character loosely on me, so when Steven was looking for someone to help be the technical advisor, he called me.”

This installment of the the epic action-adventure series was directed by Colin Trevorrow and like the previous films is based on characters created by Michael Crichton. The screenplay is by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver and Derek Connolly & Trevorrow, and the story is by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Omar Sy, BD Wong and Irrfan Khan.
