‘Shadowhunters’ Casts ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation’ Alum Kaitlyn Leeb

The cast of the new ABC Family supernatural drama Shadowhunters keeps getting bigger and bigger, now adding a Degrassi: The Next Generation alum.

Katilyn Leeb played journalist Jennifer Doolittle in the most current season of Degrassi, but is turning in her pen and paper for fangs in the new ABC Family series. Leeb will play beautiful and cunning, Camille Belcourt is the sexy leader of the New York vampire clan.

Shadowhunters is based on The Mortal Instruments novels and will follow the story of Clary Fray as she’s thrown into the world of demon hunting after her mother Jocelyn is kidnapped. She travels with mysterious Shadowhunter Jace and her best friend Simon, and living among faeries, warlocks, vampires and werewolves, Clary begins a journey of self-discovery as she learns more about her past and what her future may hold.

Kaitlyn joins castmembers Katherine McNamara as Clary Fray, Dominic Sherwood as Jace,  Matthew Daddario as Alec Lightwood, Isaiah Mustafa as Luke Garroway, Alan Van Sprang  as Valentine, Harry Shum Jr. as Magnus Bane,  Alberto Rosende as Simon and Emeraude Toubia as Isabelle.
