Paul Wesley Talks ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 4

Paul Wesley reveals some details on what’s ahead for him and Elena in Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries. With Elena choosing Stefan before the events that ended the season, Paul feels that all bets are off due to Elena’s death.

“I think in a way, all bets are off,” Paul revealed. “She made that decision before she died.”

Another question that Paul has received a lot over the break, why didn’t he save Elena in the car? Paul promises us that we’ll get an answer with that in Season 4.

Paul also spoke on the originals and their role in the upcoming season.

“The originals are characters that are always… they can never be trusted. I don’t think anyone on this show could ever be trusted to be honest with you.” Paul said.

True. We can’t count the times all the characters have lied to each other in order to save one another. At least it’s usually for a good cause right?

As much as we love Stefan and Elena, we thrive on the tension between Elena and Damon, or Delena as us fans call them. In the end, we’re rooting for Elena and Damon to finally be together. The characters have too much chemistry for it just to be ignored… and we think the writers want it that way. We’re also really excited to see how Elena will react to knowing that she actually met Damon first, and that he compelled her to forget. Now that she’s dead, she will remember this.

Now that we’re done with our venting on the romantic triangle that will continue in Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries, we’d love to hear what couple you’re pulling for! Sound off in our comment section below!
