‘SNL’ Alum Neil Casey Joins ‘Ghostbusters’

Another SNL alum has joined the cast of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot so we’re expecting tons of laughs from this female-led film.

Comedian/writer Neil Casey has signed on the play the film’s villain, joining fellow former SNL-ers Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones in the reboot. There aren’t any further details about the role yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted as they start to come out.

The new Ghostbusters film stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the supernatural fighting quartet. Chris Hemsworth recently joined the cast in a supporting lead role and will play the “assistant to the band of ghostbusting gals “who nobody wants to work with.”

Director Paul Feig recently gave fans a look at the new suits and proton packs that the ladies will be using to fight the supernatural, which from the looks of stays super close to the original designs.

In addition to SNL, Casey’s other credits include Veep, The Kroll Show, Marry Me and Yahoo original series Other Space.

Ghostbusters is scheduled to hit theaters July 22, 2016.
