Netflix’s original drama series Between has been renewed for a second season.

The news was announced today by the show’s star Jennette McCurdy with a tweet that reads,” The quarantine is not yet over…Season 2 of #Between confirmed for 2016 @Netflix @City_TV #PrayForPrettyLake”

The show follows the residents of the small town of Pretty Lake, as they deal with a virus that kills everyone above the age of 22. Now quarantined by the government, and with all the adults dead, the kids of Pretty Lake must band together and figure out how to survive. Unfortunately, those of us who read Lord of the Flies knows how that kind of scenario can go. (Spoiler Alert! There are a fair amount of child deaths in this series, which could make some uncomfortable.)

Between was the first Netflix series to be released in a weekly format, with a new episode coming out every Thursday. There’s no word about whether or not the second season will receive the same treatment or be made available all at once.
