Camp Firewood Counselors Introduce Themselves in ‘Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp’ Teaser

The Camp Firewood counselors can’t wait to meet you in the latest teaser for Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp.

Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp is the prequel series to the 2001 cult film, which took a look at the goings on of a summer camp, Camp Firewood, on it’s last day. The Neflix prequel will instead take place on the first day of camp, back in 1981.

In the new teaser, the counselors we came to know possibly a little too well in the original film, are ready to begin their summer with the kids (or not) and are excited to meet you (but not in a creepy way).

All of the original’s favorite counselors and camp staff are back including Elizabeth Banks, H. Jon Benjamin, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Janeane Garofalo, Nina Hellman, David Hyde Pierce, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, AD Miles, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Marisa Ryan, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter, along with some new famous faces.

Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp will be available July 31 at 12:01am PT only on Netflix.
