Chloe Moretz is ready to put her comedic talents to the test next to the best of them in the sequel to Neighbors.
The young actress, who has proven herself as one of the industry’s most promising young stars, has signed on to star opposite heartthrob Zac Efron and funnyman Seth Rogen in the sequel to their 2014 hit Neighbors.
The original movie followed new parents Mac (Seth Rogen) and Kelly Radner (Rose Byrne) as they participated in an escalating war with the frat-next-door, headed up by charismatic president Teddy Sanders (Zac Efron).
Variety, who first reported the news, has no knowledge of what her role in the film will be, nor do they have any details on the plot of the film at the moment. Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse also made appearances in the movie, but there’s no word on whether or not either will return yet.
The sequel is scheduled to head to theaters on May 13th.
If you want to catch some of Chloe’s work in the meantime (and trust us, you won’t regret it) check her out starring opposite Keira Knightley in Laggies or The Equalizer opposite Denzel Washington and look out for her upcoming films Dark Places and the Atlanta-filmed The Fifth Wave.
