High School Musical: Extended Edition
Fans of High School Musical enjoyed a special sing-along screening of the upcoming Dec. 11 DVD & Blu-ray release of High School Musical 2: Extended Edition at a gala and red-carpet benefit for the Teen Impact program at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles honoring Rich Ross, President of Disney Channel, Worldwide, at the historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
In attendance were High School Musical stars Zac Efron (Troy), Vanessa Hudgens (Gabriella), Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay), Corbin Bleu (Chad), and Monique Coleman (Taylor), along with Kaycee Stroh (Martha), Olesya Rulin (Kelsi), Chris Warren Jr. (Zeke), Ryne Sanborn (Jason) and director Kenny Ortega. Other Disney Channel stars in attendance included Kyle Massey, Jason Dolley and Madison Pettis (Cory in the House), Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan and Kiely Williams (The Cheetah Girls) and Moises Arias (Hannah Montana).
About the High School Musical 2: Extended Edition DVD-
High School Musical 2, the most highly anticipated sequel of the year, comes to DVD and Blu-ray High-Def in an extended edition on December 11, 2007 from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. There’s a special bonus musical scene available only on DVD and Blu-ray High-Def, seamlessly integrated into the film, in which audiences can finally see the musical number Troy and Sharpay rehearse in the film but never perform. Established in 1988, Teen Impact provides unique services to children and teens, including group and individual psychotherapy, three-day retreats and adventure therapy trips, plus special activities year-round.
