‘Hemlock Grove’ Star Famke Janssen Lands ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ Role

Looks like Hemlock Grove star Famke Janssen will go from playing a cold, calculated pro at murder, to trying to learn How to Get Away with Murder.

The actress has officially been cast in a recurring role during the show’s second season. TV Line broke the news that the stunning actress would join the series, saying that she’ll be playing “a brilliant, revered defense attorney who takes her job very seriously.”

While ABC did confirm the news of Janssen’s casting, they kept the details of her role to themselves.

Famke’s career shows that she’s no stranger to taking on some interesting roles, having played upir Olivia Godfrey in Hemlock Grove, transsexual Ava Moore in Nip/Tuck and most notably mutant Jean Grey in the X-Men films. We’re sure her HTGAWM role won’t be quite so out there, but even if it is, Janssen is more than prepared to rock it.

How to Get Away with Murder returns for it’s second season on Sept. 24 (10/9c), and fans can look out for Janssen to make her debut then as well.
