‘Ghostbusters’ Cast Visits Children’s Hospital, Adorableness Ensues

The stars of the female-led Ghostbusters film have already started their tour of do-goodery, visiting the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center over the weekend.

The new Ghostbusters, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, all took time over the weekend to stop by and post for photos with patients and their parents, full in costume with proton packs in hand.

“Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center patients got a huge surprise today when Ghostbusters stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones came to visit!” reads the Facebook post. “Thank you for taking the time out of filming today to put a big smile on our patients faces! ‪#‎WhoYouGonnaCall‬ ‪#‎Ghostbusters‬.”

Fans recently learned that the names of the not-so-fearsome foursome: Kristen Wigg will play Erin Gilbert, Melissa McCarthy is Abby Yates, Leslie Jones will play Patty Tolan and Kate McKinnon takes on the role of Jillian Holtzmann.

Also appearing in the film are Chris Hemsworth as the “assistant to the band of ghostbusting gals “who nobody wants to work with” and SNL alum Neil Casey, who is set to take on the role of the film’s villain.

Ghostbusters is headed to theaters July 22, 2016.
