‘Glee’ Star Darren Criss Is Headed to ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’

Brace yourselves, Gleeks! Former Glee star Darren Criss has reportedly joined the cast of American Horror Story: Hotel.

The actor is best known for his role as Blaine in Glee (aka one-half of the show’s popular ‘ship Klaine), but has since moved on to equally impressive projects, like his Broadway starring run in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Darren’s next role could prove to be one of his most challenging. According to E!’s Kristin Dos Santos, the star is in talks to play a character named Justin who is described as “a Silver Lake hipster who heads to the hotel on Halloween with his equally hip girlfriend to escape pesky trick-or-treaters. But after one too many room service demands, Kathy Bates’ character, the head of the hotel, gives Criss’ character a Halloween trick they will never forget.”

He’ll be joining the already stellar cast of the newest season including, AHS vets Angela Bassett as Ramona, Evan Peters as Mr. March, Sarah Paulson as Hypodermic Sally, Kathy Bates as Iris, Matt Bomer as Donovan, Lily Rabe, Denis O’Hare, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley, and last season’s breakout star Finn Wittrock, along with newbies Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, Max Greenfield, Helena Mattsson, Naomi Campbell and Richard T. Jones as Detective Hahn.

Look out for AHS: Hotel to premiere on FX in October.
