Kurt Russell and Jennifer Jason Leigh Appear on First Poster for Quentin Tarantino’s ‘The Hateful Eight’
That’s some fine mustache Kurt Russell is rocking on the first poster for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming western, The Hateful Eight.
The film is set some years after the Civil War in Wyoming and follows Kurt Russell’s character John Ruth, a hangman, and Jennifer Jason Leigh’s Daisy Domergue, a prisoner, as they’re forced to take shelter at a haberdashery located on a mountain pass during a blizzard. While there, they’re joined by 6 other figures and the storm may not end up being the most dangerous obstacle during their travel.
Take a look at the poster below (via EW):
In addition to Russell and Leigh, the movie stars Samuel L. Jackson as Major Marquis Warren, “The Bounty Hunter”; Walton Goggins as Chris Mannix, “The Sheriff”; Demián Bichir as Bob,”The Mexican”; Tim Roth as Oswaldo Mobray,”The Little Man”; Michael Madsen as Joe Gage, “The Cow Puncher”; and Bruce Dern as General Sanford Smithers,”The Confederate”.
The film previously faced some bumps along the way, when the script for the project was leaked. Tarantino initially decided not to move forward with the film, but since changed his mind.
The Hateful Eight will be released on December 25, 2015 in 70mm and everywhere on January 8, 2016.
