‘Once Upon a Time’ Season 5 Poster Features a Dark Swan

Dark Swan has risen in the first official poster from Once Upon a Time‘s upcoming fifth season.

This year’s poster features Emma at her darkest, as the Dark One, holding the iconic apple that’s been featured on its fair share of covers. The former Savior will face great temptation as she lets her dark side come out to play for the first half of season 5.

Jennifer Morrison, who plays Emma Swan in the series, has been having a great time playing up bad Emma. “Emotionally it’s interesting because there’s something really fun and free about Emma in the darkness,” she told us during Comic-Con this year. “She’s just free of the gravity of what other people think, the gravity of worrying about saving people. There’s a lightness, in a sense, in her darkness because she doesn’t have to do the right thing and she doesn’t have to be the stronger, better person all the time. So there was a little bit of freedom in that that’s really fun.
