John Constantine Is Heading to ‘Arrow’

Constantine fans may have been bummed that the series wasn’t picked up by any networks for a second season, but thanks to Arrow, they’ll get the chance to see their favorite supernatural detective.

Matt Ryan, who played John Constantine on the now-cancelled NBC series, announced that he’ll he beading over to The CW’s hit series Arrow during the shows upcoming season. Ryan spread news via Twitter, saying “The Trench Coat is being dusted off. #Constantine #Arrow @CW_Arrow @amellywood looking forward to it. #thisfall ”

Even Arrow himself, Stephen Amell welcomed Matt Ryan with a tweet that reads, “Hey @mattryanreal… Welcome to Arrow!!!”

Both characters are from DC Comics, but unlike most cross-overs of this nature, there are no real indications that Constantine lives in the same universe as Oliver Queen. Regardless, the powers that be have been working on this crossover for some time, and since Constantine doesn’t have another home, fans will be happy to see him back onscreen again.

Arrow returns Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

You know the drill…let us know what you think of the crossover in the comments below!
