Hailee Steinfeld Confirmed for ‘Pitch Perfect 3’

Have you heard the aca-mazing news?! Hailee Steinfeld is the latest Barden Bella to sign up for the next installment of Pitch Perfect.

The actress’ character, Emily Junk, was introduced in Pitch Perfect 2 and is the newest and youngest Bella, in addition to being the only Bella that didn’t graduate in the most recent film.

“I’m in,” she told E! News last night at a screening of her new indie drama Ten Thousand Saints. “I can’t wait! It’s all happening.”

Steinfeld joins castmates (and graduated Bellas) Rebel Wilson, Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow, all of whom have confirmed that they’re more than excited to return for Pitch Perfect 3.

The return of Emily Junk is great news, but not necessarily surprising. It was previously reported that “Universal and Gold Circle were smelling a franchise when they made sure to lock in series newcomer Hailee Steinfeld for a follow-up.”

It will be interesting to see how the story continues, since we saw the majority of the Barden Bellas graduate in Pitch Perfect 2. From the looks of things, the future of the Barden Bellas could very well be left in the hands of Emily Junk Hailee Steinfeld.
