The Dark One Is Missing in New ‘Once Upon a Time’ Sneak Peek

The fairytale characters of Once Upon a Time will have to work together to save Emma from her new fate, but first they’ll have to find her.

By now it’s no secret that Emma is the new Dark One and that when the show returns, we’ll be meeting the Dark Swan. Now we have a first look at how Emma’s loved ones immediately react to her new title.

During this year’s Comic-Con, Colin O’Donoghue teased that Captain Hook’s main concern would be getting his love back to her old savior self. “Nothing is more important to Hook at this moment than Emma and her heart,” he told us at the convention.

In the clip below, we see the moment we left off on last season, when Emma became the new Dark One. Immediately after, the Charmings, Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and the rest of the crew try to figure out where Emma disappeared to, and Hook takes it upon himself to try and summon her with the dagger…only something happens that no one expects.

Once Upon a Time returns for its fifth season on Sunday, September 27 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC.
