‘Supergirl’ Casts ‘Pan’ Star Levi Miller as Cat Grant’s Son

Pan star Levi Miller has been added to the still-growing cast of Supergirl.

The Australian child actor has been cast as Calista Flockhart’s character Cat Grant’s 12-year-old son Carter. Miller will make his first Supergirl appearance in the show’s fourth episode. (In case you forgot, Grant is Kara/Supergirl’s self-made media magnate boss)

TVLine was the first to report the news, with casting details about Carter’s character, who will be spending a lot of time with Kara, his babysitter.

According to the site, “12-year-old Carter is “sensitive and shy” and “couldn’t be more different from his mom.”” Eventually he and Kara will grow close and “”Carter finally opens up to her — revealing his true feelings for Supergirl.””

“We loved working with him so much on Pan, we were excited to bring him into Supergirl‘s universe,” said Berlanti and his fellow Supergirl producers in a joint statement to TVLine. “He’s an exceptional young actor and a part of the Berlanti Productions family. It will be fun for audiences, who we know will fall in love with him as Peter in Pan on Oct 9, to see his range with his turn as Calista Flockhart’s American son.”

Berlanti also served as executive producer on Pan.

You can catch Miller as the titular character in Pan, hitting theaters Oct. 6.

Supergirl heads to CBS with a special premiere of Monday, Oct. 26, at 8:30/7:30c. The series will then move to its usual time slot, (Mondays at 8 pm) on Nov. 2.
